I really like the various greenish SDB's you produced.

16D-06a - love the color. Any pics when the falls are relaxed?

Love the TBs and I think you're definitely on to something with those SDBs too, including the 'chartreuse' ones. Lovey dubby

SDBs are popular in New England. Bob Sobeck is also working with green irises, Yours seem to have very nice form.

I get green(ish) TB seedlings as well, typically also the unintentional result of breeding for something else. Shrug! Usually, they are pretty unattractive, but a few are nice.

16T-67e has a decent chance of being introduced someday, Phil seems impressed by it. I actually prefer the flower on 67h, but from a technical standpoint, it's not quite as good a plant. Kept 13T-72b for years because the green flush on the standards of an otherwise pale blue flower is somewhat unusual. Ultimately though, I couldn't figure out what to do with it, and discarded it. Crossed it with Jungle Mist a couple of years ago, those seedlings should bloom this spring, so maybe it will live on that way. Crossing Fingers!

I like them both, but 16T-67e is superb! Lovey dubby

I like the flared form of 16T-67h, and the brown wash on the very olive green falls. Do you have any pics of it with the falls fully relaxed?

Not a good one, no. It tends to hold its falls fairly horizontal until the flower is pretty old. This is the only picture I have at that stage and it's not very good. Shrug!

Thanks Kent. I sure love it's color. I liked flared falls too, but the relaxed pic shows me more of the detail. Thumbs up

I didn't keep any other seedlings from this cross. It was an interesting one, though, they were all over the place in terms of color.

Sure love the veining on all of them. Also love the tipped color beards on many of them. K and L have a lovely lavender grey shade on their falls. J is a really nice purple bitone. The colors are rich. And I like the blush on B and I. I would like I in my garden.

B and c seem to be the most unusual of the bunch, I like both of them and also i, maybe because it looks a lot like

As mentioned, all of them have been discarded. I liked several, especially j, but they were either too much like irises already on the market or I have better, similar looking seedlings from other crosses. I just thought the range of colors was interesting, including the green ones shown earlier.

I don't think I could have discarded any of them. In my opinion they were stunning.
