Lucy, I agree I would usually not like the position of the standards, but like you, I could make an exception for that one! Somehow it's very graceful despite the flaring standards. Really a stunner!

P.S. Somehow, I think it's name should have something to do with ballet, or a ballet dancer.

I think both are nice. Prefer f (which looks like a pink version of Enter), but really like that both have a blue flare beneath the beard. The darker one is a bit like a pink version of Enter's child, Dance With Dragons, which also has the darker falls.

Ironically, Enter The Dragon does exceedingly well here and blooms every year. Pretty rare for a Blyth to do better in the South than in northern regions.

More offspring of Haunted Heart.

16T-22a is a love it or hate it sort of iris, probably too offbeat to appeal to very many people, but it's one my favorite seedlings ever.

I don't even know how to describe it in terms of color?

Some of it's siblings were also interesting, but ended up being discarded for one reason or another.

I like a too. Would you call the falls a chocolate brown with a magenta wash and blue/purple spray below the beards (if this was a beardless I would call them signals but what are they called in bearded?)? I don't have a color wheel, but you get my drift.

I would describe this iris as follows:

Standards - Antique Ivory with a Pale Violet wash.

Falls - Dusty Rose with a Violet wash and a Violet streak in the middle, edges crispy, light buff in color.

Kent ~ I have a question about this one...are the reverse sides of the falls a buff color? It appears that way, but it is hard to tell from the picture.

Been used, although it was spelled as two words.

Evelyn, no, the fall reverse is similar to the standards. Greyed mushroom pink is what I call it (got that from the description of a Blyth iris I used to grow called 'Mystic Potion').

I really like your 16T-22a seedling, it looks like a more colourful version of Imprimis (B. Blyth 1992), which is one of my favourite irises:

I would call that brownish pink base colour on the falls 'old rose': https://i.pinimg.com/736x/8f/6...

Electric Candy is another iris that fun to play around with if you are trying to get something different. The best cross I've made with it was 16T-32, Electric Candy X House Arrest

The two keepers out of the cross were 32t and 32m

Love the way the underside of the falls shows through in the ruffles

Some more great ones. I have not had luck with Electric Candy, I either get seeds that don't germinate, or I get no seeds at all. I keep trying.

16-32o - love that light lavender/blue fall! Great form too.

16-32m is gorgeous. The color of those standards matching the rim on the falls just ties it together so neatly. Really pretty!

Love the color on 16-32t but not the form of the falls. I agree that the contrasting underside showing in the ruffles is nice.

I like 16T-32m also. Lovely form and color. You're getting some fine results, Kent! Hurray!
