Thank you, Karen and Betty.

I am going to try to sell a lot of daylilies this summer and next summer.
I plan to keep only the ones that I am going to use for breeding.
I need the room for seedlings.

I have it and a blueridge order coming tomorrow but to say I had anything ready would be fake new for sure. Something to strive for in the morning.
All I did today as pull beggars ticks until I was sure I was in stage 4 heart failure.

Wow what beautiful plants I received from Floyd Cove. Some of the plants were actually clumps, six fans. More than pleased with this shipment, just can't say enough for the bargain this sale was.

The same for me too. The fans were more than generous for new intros. I wish I had prepared their holes as you had done for yours Larry. I am sure you will get scapes very soon on yours. I cut most foliage and scapes off because I am trying to reduce the chances of rust appearing on them so probably no flowers for me this year. I am looking forward to see blooms from them next year. Good luck with your plants everyone!

I havent even opened the box. I will give them a good spray, because with 11.04 inches of rain this week, 4 of that last night, I feel rust could be a problem. Ive finally got my earlier outbreak under control and would like to keep it that way.

There was a note in mine saying they had been treated for rust before shipment. The heat has warmed up now and rust is not nearly as bad as it was earlier in the year in my garden. I was out deadheading this morning and noticed a huge reduction in the rust...but there is still rust apparent just not overwhelming.

Well, 5 are planted, 5 more to go. I had to convert more lawn space for these plants. I also received the note but just wanted to be safe. I had to trim them down to about 3" and strip off all the green parts. After I planted them, I sprayed everything with Daconil fungicide. Doing this way has helped me to prevent rust outbreaks in my garden.
