Just don't know where else to post this one. I planted these last year but got no blooms. Looks good for this year, but we are supposed to get a big rain this weekend so I may not get to enjoy them then.![]() Terri |

Since this is the roses forum I'll throw in a white rose to go with the white daisy. White Dorothy Perkins. Terri |

Oh! I've got to get some of those! What variety are they? |

I have two that look somewhat similar. CHRYSANTHEMUM superbum Crazy Daisy and CHRYSANTHEMUM superbum Old Court. I'm pretty sure that is Old Court. I planted them both together and the foliage is so think I cant' find the tags. I got them both from Bluestone. Terri |

Thanks! How long do they bloom? |

The blooms that are open right now have been so for about a week. There are many more unopend buds waiting their turn. I usually dead head the daisies and they get another flush, but these two are new to me so we'll see. I have them in afternoon shade as they tend to brown a bit at the edges if they get too much really hot afternoon sun. And zuzu, the dogs have figured out the camera routine. I'm afraid it is becoming increasingly difficult to keep those camera hogs out of the background of photos! ![]() Terri |

I love that Crazy Daisy! It's so hard trying to find a neat looking white flower! I really want to get something like that (Looking at Echinacea "Virgin" http://www.bluestoneperennials...) to go on either side of my orange coneflower. Wow! & what kind of pooch is that? Looks like a black shepherd of some kind... Roses are one of my passions! Just opened, my Etsy shop (to fund my rose hobby)! http://www.etsy.com/shop/Tweet... |

Toni, that is a Dumptius Caninus..... Someone dumped her out at the front of our lot and then tried to run her down with his truck. I was out in the yard at the time, but by the time I ran up to the road the *#$%^ guy saw me and took off so I couldn't get his liscense number. The vet thinks she was about six month old at the time. She wasn't hurt. We think she is half sheppard and half heeler. She kind of looks like a miniature of the German Sheppard dog in the Eukanuba print adds. We've had her for about a year now. She's pretty high energy (ie. insane) but she gets on really well with the other dogs and she is slowly turning into a good dog. She adores my Corgi. They both have the same type of attitude towards life. Terri |

Lord, if I kept every critter that has made it's way to my front yard, I'd have like 6 dogs & over 20 cats by now... Whichi don't get as I'm at the end of a culdesac that's 5 houses deep! When people ask what our one dog, I just tell them, "dumb Friend's special". We got him as a pup @ one of our local shelters (www.ddfl.org) & they said he was a st. Bernard mix, which was find as I wanted a BIG dog. I ended upwith a 60lb neurotic dog on crack. NOT what I wanted. Oh well. I just picked up some standard Shasta daisies. They'll go in the backyard in the pond area this weekend w/a ton of Sterling Silvers. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Roses are one of my passions! Sigh! Five dogs is my absolute limit! I love dogs, but if I had my drutthers they would all be Corgis--with the possible exeption of the Catahoula that was dumped out last year. She has really turned into a find! Terri |
