My m. adansonii is in need of some pruning and I would like to propagate the pieces to make a fuller plant. So I have a couple of questions!
1. Should I wait until Spring, or is this ok to do now?
2. Should the cuttings be started in water, or dipped in rooting hormone and potted directly with the mother plant?
Thank you all!

|It can be pruned and propagated at any time of year. Either method of propagating them is fine and is a matter of personal choice. The cuttings can also be potted in their own small pots.
