|Troilus was the second rose I ever bought for the garden at my current home. I don't know why I chose it because at the time I was very anti yellow. I have watched it grow and bloom for three or four years now and it has become my favourite rose alongside Windermere.
The blooms are always perfect and even when they age they look great.
They never fade or go brown as many roses do.
The buds are gorgeous too.
Troilus has stayed under 4ft and has strong upright canes that form a vase shaped plant with few thorns. The perfume is light and pleasant as well. The colour is so soft that it goes with anything and it has become my favourite bloom for arrangements.
If Troilus is still available to me next year I shall get another one and squeeze it in somewhere. It is so well behaved that I am sure I can find a spot for another one.

|Gorgeous!!! Thanks for highlighting this rose! I can see it in arrangements...it would harmonize so well...and the fully packed petals would look amazing! Wowza!|

|I have always thought that this is one of DA's most beautiful roses. I wish I had space for it. Perhaps, now, if that chance crops up, I might try to find a spot for it (after I find the plant).|
