Just checked our data base. Sedeverias are there, even my particular one! Seems they've been around some time. Well, that's the way it is in Arkansas, always behind the times.

He had a bunch of little plants. Nothing special. Lowe's had a lot of the same plants as last time. I was able to get a decent sized salvia for three bucks. They had cosmos .50 , Angelonia .50. Still doesn't make sense why they just stop watering the clearance plants.

Maybe too many plants to water and too little time. Shrug!

Went to lowes. Only plants worth it were the saucy red and coral salvia. The clearance section surprised me with nothing. About three weeks ago they had alot of gaillardia, but didnt see any there today. Biggest pet peeve is finding plants potted in nursery pots when they could sell them with cheap nursery pots. I found a group of three celosias in a pot for 12 dollars. Way too overpriced.

I agree I went there looking for lantana. A few very puny pots of them, Monrovia brand. $5.99 each, and only a 3":pot.,Really?

Our clearance has been dismal so far this year. Mostly dead stuff and still priced too high. Glare

Otherwise, seems like the same plants as last year. Sighing!

I haven't been to a storesince January. Looks like I didn't miss much.
My opinion - we could swap out with each other and do much better.

Truth. My ;local grocery store is carrying the 'latest' plants that Costa is marketing in their 'tropical ' collection (ZZ Raven, Philo Birkin, some peperomia I don;t really like and Begonia maculata.) I pass by them everytime I am grocery shopping

Well, I had to go to Wal Mart yesterday because I needed pro mix and they are the only place to get it here, and of course I looked at the plants. I resisted, but they has some I may go back for. Some really nice tropical hibiscus at a very decent price and some wow! SunPatiens. I just started growing these this year, and I really like them. They had one in particular that was really eye catching, it had variegated leaves. A very reasonable price.

Our doctor advised us (sternly) keep out of grocery stores. So I only wait in the lot for my online order to be loaded in my trunk. I'm saving loads of money; but missing the hunt for bargain & unusual plants.
I learned first hand about the suffering of covid19 when my Mom got it in March. She survived, but is not the same.

I am so sorry about your mother. I think before this is over, we may all know someone who either got sick with his or died from it.

Mom's 96. A real fighter. We are blessed and know it. She thanks you for your prayers and good wishes, and knows that's what pulled her through this.
P.S. Mom's a life-long gardener extraordinaire !

Ace had some interesting plants today. They had about 30 hardy hibiscus but the price was 20. One possibly mislabeled mystic spires caught my eye. Also meteor shower verbena looked interesting. They had purple porterweed but little expensive at seven bucks.

I haven't been in awhile, but fixing to go to Wal Mart. My pre loaded weed eater line spool ran out right in the middle of weedeating today, and I'm not going to put up with my garden hose any longer, it kinks so bad! I also have to pick up new pots for the mints, so of course I'll look at the plants! I will report back later.
