Can other gardeners please tell me where to buy those small (about 2" X3" or so) ziploc baggies with the white space to write on that many people use to store their daylily seeds? Thanks for your help!

Maybe others can tell you about the ones with the white space on it. I have bought the bags without the white and I use a sharpie to write on the bag. Those I can get at walmart and at hobby lobby.

yes, hobby lobby. You might have to ask where they are in the store.

Over the years I have purchased from several suppliers. In most cases, the more bags you buy, the cheaper they are per unit and regardless of vendor, they are all very similar. If you are looking for a couple of hundred bags, they can be moderately expensive per unit, but for 1,000 bags you can get them for as little as about $6 per thousand. There are numerous places on the internet if you search (2X3" resealable clear plastic bags with white stripe). You should have security protection on either your end (or the supplier's). You also might choose a non-tracking browser (like DuckDuckGo) for your search so you won't be bothered with a lot of ads for plastic bags in the next several weeks. The 2 mil thickness is adequate, but check for the price for the quantity you want and shipping cost as some suppliers offer free shipping. Yes, prices do vary even within plastic bag sellers and even good sized companies are looking for business and will be glad to sell a thousand bags which come in a pretty small box, so not difficult to store. On the other hand, there are people who offer these bags regularly on the LA in lots of a 100-500 or more as do stores like Office Depot, etc., and even WalMart, but you will pay a premium for the small quantities at a local store.
