@Plantladylin @Adriennevs Ahh.... Many thanks! i just noticed it in the first picture. Its so. fULL! ![]() ![]() I gave this plant to my mom few years back for M-day and it eventually died off and i was able to remove the last remaining vine, here it is 3yrs later. And unless im doing something wrong, i have noticed it is a very slooow grower. Probably wont be seeing blooms any time soon... ![]() |

I think the growth depends on your indoor conditions. I got my plant in August/September of last year and it wasn't doing much. I thought I might lose it because it was so overwatered when I bought it. I moved it around to a few different locations before I found the location where I could literally see a difference in the growth on a regular basis. I think bright light (even some direct sun if it's morning or afternoon sun) and humidity really help to get the show on the road. I'm not entirely sure why, but I've found in my home environment that my fuzzy leafed plants prefer the warm diffused humidity of a bathroom where regular showers take place (four people in my house, the upstairs bathroom is a busy place). They don't like the water to sit in the leaves whereas the thinner non-fuzzy leaved plants that need humidity like my monstera adonsonii are fine with a humidifier and heavy misting. I'm not sure if that's true or if I completely made it up to make myself feel better but I'm sticking to it for now. |

Marie, ![]() I wonder if your plant might be a variety of Hoya lacunosa. Compare to Wax Plant (Hoya lacunosa 'Langkawi Island') ~ I'm an old gal who still loves playing in the dirt! ~ Playing in the dirt is my therapy ... and I'm in therapy a lot! |

The blooms look a lot like that of the lacunosa. Here I thought I had it figured out that it was a Krohniana... I'll have to look and see if I find a picture of its blooms. It's been a hard one to identify! ![]() |

Actually, just saw the pics with blooms in the data base. I'm fairly certain it is a Krohniana. |

LOL, Wax Plant (Hoya krohniana) is one I'm not familiar with and I now remember talk about it earlier. Your plant may indeed be H. krohniana. ~ I'm an old gal who still loves playing in the dirt! ~ Playing in the dirt is my therapy ... and I'm in therapy a lot! |

Marie, I submitted a proposal to change the title of this thread from Hoya curtisii peduncle to Hoya krohniana peduncle. ~ I'm an old gal who still loves playing in the dirt! ~ Playing in the dirt is my therapy ... and I'm in therapy a lot! |

Thank you Lin! It definitely needed to be changed since we now have it correctly identified! And I'll now take my chance to share another beautiful picture of the bloom! ![]() |

It is quite strong. I cant quite pin point how to describe it, maybe close to a vanilla scent. It is very pleasing though! Do you know how long the blooms usually last? |

I've never grown H. krohniana so I'm not sure what the life of the blooms are on that one. ~ I'm an old gal who still loves playing in the dirt! ~ Playing in the dirt is my therapy ... and I'm in therapy a lot! |
