This post is to show that Hoyas, like many other plants can happily remain in their original plastic nursery pots for quite awhile.

My little Hoya heuschkeliana is in the same tiny 2 inch plastic pot that it arrived in 5 years ago! It's currently full of little peduncles (bloom spurs) and although it's not currently in flower, it does bloom off and on all year long. All of the photos below are from today with the exception of the last two, showing the blooms. Hoya heuschkeliana is a small leaf variety, with umbels of tiny, fragrant, pink flowers.

Thanks Adrienne, it's a tiny one but an easy grower for me, the only Hoya I keep indoors.

Guess I'll have to have that one too.

I saw some online but it was more than I wanted to spend. Prices are high out there.

Gardinos has some right now. I shouldn't even look. It's too cold for shipping. ::sigh::

I plan on trying to go to the USC Tampa botanical garden sale this year....in the past they always had a very good selection of hoya for sale.

You needn't worry about prices or cold as 78 of the 87 listed are out of stock.

They list new ones on Thursday so you have to be johnny on the spot to get them. I just really shouldn't look because, I want, and it's really too cold here for me to order any. Dang January in Oklahoma! Let us know what you find at the botanical garden sale. I can still dream.
