Two days later. She'll probably have this flower fully unfurled tomorrow. Sun and shade lighting.

I use both my Nikon and my Iphone...the Iphone takes a better picture though and I love that I can do basic editing right on the phone. Ever wonder how I get that REALLY black back ground? ( and the yellow Lab hair mysteriously disappears now Whistling ) I would be sad not being able to share photos of my flowers.
Gina, that's a really cool flower and plant you have there. Jim and I are going to Apopka this week, Wed I think, anyone want to join us? We are stopping at 1st orchids , Ecuagenera , Krull Smith the fern place in the next town over to pick up a flat of maidenhairs for our club display next weekend and of course lunch at the Catfish place. Jim doesn't know it yet but I'm going to ask that we make a stop to pick up a large second hand fan I bought this morning from a local grower (ShadyTree Nursery..he has great orchids but not open on weekdays).
meanwhile, I'm hoping these 2 will still be presentable for the Tampa Orchid Show next weekend.

Ohh, the Rth. Lily Marie Alamas 'MGR' is gorgeous, I love the yellow against the red. Lovey dubby

Looks great, Ken!

I haven't used my Nikon in about 4 and 1/2 years. It sits in the closet! I have switched out my IPhone 7 for the IPhone 11 and I really love the camera on this one. Yesterday I took a class at the Apple store to learn some extra features using the portrait mode.

I just charged the battery on my old Nikon D50, it still works fine. If someone here would like to have it, I would let go of it for postage. It has an extra telephoto lens too.

Edited - the Nikon has been spoken for and sent out. 💕
