Longview, Texas formally opened their new Longview Arboretum and Nature Center in November of 2019. (Dirt work began in August of 2017.) So now it's 'arrived'. Thus the Northeast Texas Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas (NPSOT) invites you to attend a Garden Tool Shower on February 8th from10 - 5 on behalf of the newly opened Longview Arboretum and Nature Center. Bring a rake. Bring a shovel. Bring a wheelbarrow. Or garden gloves. Maybe some hand tools. Of course monetary donations will be gladly accepted.

I don't think I've ever been to a baby shower like this before. Or heard of one. If you're in the area, check it out. Gotta admit it's a very innovative idea.

I understand it is totally revamped with new mgmt. ~ Steven Chamblee. He always has different twists and turns.

Wish I could attend but the boss is making me work that day. Hope all that go enjoy it.
