Kind of carrot-like in smell and appearance. I have researched Queen Anne's lace, but I don't remember these having any purple flower when grown. They often start out very flat and low to the ground. Thinnish, long white root. Thanks for your help. ... asking because if this thing is edible it is going into the salad from now on |

| Filaree / Erodium cicutarium / Stork's bill I don't know if it is edible but herbalists use it for various things. Livestock eats it. The seed has a corkscrew awn that digs into the soil. It can also dig into dog's skin and cause problems. I pull it up whenever I see it on my property. |
