One other wonderful use of plantain is when one is stung by a bee, wasp or stinging nettle. Chew on a plantain leaf and place it on the wound. It completely reduces the swelling making the removal of an offending stinger much easier.

Hi Mary,

Yes m'am! You are so right. I think I lived with leaves of lamb's ears or plantain plastered on me somewhere when I was growing up. Sure did take the pain of a sting away, too.
