All - Please forgive if this is an ignorant question, but should I cut the stalk or not cut the stalk? I cut yucca stalks every year, but this thing looks more like an agave- that said, it bloomed last year and didn't die. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Welcome @Jeremy96 That is a pretty plant and not an ignorant question. I don't believe I would remove the bloom stalk until it dries and slips free easily. Unfortunately it may not be attractive to let it remain on the plant.
