I had a block of seedling floating in pond today and cats ate everyone of them, pulled the sponges out. I was pretty tweeked but the scapes...as bad a them chasing lizzards and breaking them. At least some times you can put those in water and they will open. Great looking girl tho.

Nellie Jane is very cute, Steve Lovey dubby I once had an English bulldog named Liza Jane nodding

My cat loves daylily seedlings, Pam! I have my light stand totally covered with a sheet, secured all around by clamps. I have to make sure I absolutely cover every possible little opening. The little devil with manage to bite of any leaf she can get near.

Um, I'm at home. Not really working as there's nothing I can teach right now since educational equity means no teaching until all of my students have internet access.

Sooooo....I just got up lol.

If only. We're implementing distance learning with a literal handful per K-5 class logging on. Still no word on the free-to-parents hotspots the district bought but hasn't received yet.
Hardy hibiscus are a hobby, but daylilies are an obsession.

Ken, your district could be in violation of federal law. This is why we are only posting review materials that are optional and ungraded. Started this just today.

We've been going since last Thursday. I think their way around that particular federal law was that they offered devices and WiFi hotspots to all who requested them. Essentially, no student has a reason NOT to engage in distance learning.

I know we've distributed 20,000 devices so far. Yes...TWENTY thousand. That's out of about 55,000 students total. Our hotspot order, alas, has yet to be delivered.

For the record, I like your district's approach. That said, our approach ensures that I stay employed and keep getting paid. We're not a union state, so only teacher work = teacher pay.

Ken, Nebraska state law was changed due to the Spanish Flu. We get paid even if we cancel the school year. I hope your district has luck getting students to comply with distance learning. How are you meeting the needs of your IEP/Special Education kiddos?

Now, that's a question I cannot answer. I just don't know (I'm not a classroom teacher). I know they've made changes in the last few days.
