I see this very large Opuntia on my daly walk ... any ideas which one it is? I've looked at Opuntia ficus-indica and Opuntia stricta and I'm leaning towards O. ficus-indica but I don't know much about Cacti so I thought I'd post some pictures to see if anyone recognizes this big guy!

I don't know a lot about Opuntia, but I think you are right. O. stricta says up to 2 meters that one looks much taller in the picture.

This plant is @ 15' in height and after more googling and reading I think it's definitely O. ficus-indica. The other one I thought was a possibility, Opuntia stricta only reaches about 3' in height.
