We love to talk about all aspects of weather, the effect on our gardens, and on our lives. It's a good place to keep a record of weather in our gardens from year to year too, so for that reason let's try to stay as close to the topic as we can. Please join in and tell us about your weather.

Spring came about the same time as a line of rain. 63F as thunderstorm woke me up with lots of rain still coming. Temperature forecast to drop all day as colder air arrives.
Life is better at the lake.

The high for today is 63, and it already happened! Now, it is 60. By noon, it will be 43, with low tonight of 21. Tomorrow, the high will be 37, with low of 21.

There is a blinding sun shining into my east facing bedroom. Soon, the threatening dark, thick, clouds will surely wipe away this spiritual moment.

40/25 and mostly cloudy today. We've locked the doors at work so I stay in my office and work. Everyone is dropping their taxes off or mail them in then we're mailing their signature pages with return envelopes.

High today 59 F or 15 C. We got heavy rain overnight, and this morning is cloudy and foggy. We could see some high winds this afternoon, as a cold front moves through.

It has been raining for about ten days now. Some severe storms last night. Compared to previous years, I'd say spring is about two to three weeks earlier than it usually is. It's been mostly warm with a few fronts of dryer, cooler air. Since this is a daylily forum, y'all take a look at this pic: this was purchased in early March and planted. Spotted this flower scape two days ago. Really early for a daylily here, and on a just purchased plant?

It's crazy how one area gets inundated, and another area gets no rain at all. I hope you get rain soon, Pam.

Lynda, that does seem odd. Shrug!

Hope the rain gives you a break. The whole Mississippi Valley has been drenched this winter. Doesn't look good as the spring floods haven't even started yet. Stay dry!

Dana, if you can wear shorts in that kind of weather, I say go for it! I'm a southern flower, I'm tender. It's in the low 60s here, a brisk wind blowing, and the temps are supposed to take a nose dive throughout the day. I have to out today for supplies, and you can bet your bottom dollar I won't be wearing shorts! Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Oklahoma - high yesterday 77 currently 37 (9.61 inches of rain for 2020 to date)
It's going to be a bad tick season here, we hardly made it into the teens this winter.

New Mexico - snow in the forecast for tonight, highs into the fifties later this week.
Brand new bloom season waiting eagerly!

We've had over 12" of rain this year, a record for us. Very soggy out there, I have standing puddles in my front yard right now, and I can't walk in my back yard.
