Any idea what this plant might be? Bought it from eBay, shipped from China, as a "Rainbow Flower". I knew it was fake going in but I like growing random seeds and seeing what I get Big Grin

The seedling is currently 18 days since I planted the seed, I think it took ~7 days to germinate but I could be wrong. Any idea? Haven't given it any nutrients yet, so this is just it growing off distilled water.

The seeds look like Rudbeckia seeds. That hairy seedling could very well be Rudbeckia hirta.

I agree, it could be Rudbeckia.

The seeds are a pitch-black and don't have any type of groove in them. I'll keep giving it distilled water and see what happens, but someone brought up that it could be some type of venus flytrap?

The "hairs" are closer to spikes, at least as far as I can tell. I haven't tried touching them in case it is something poisonous.
