This is blooming in my front bed but I didn't plant it. Couldn't find a good match on my regular ID sites.

Maybe a Ranunculus but yes, we need to see the leaves.

Thanks guys! It is a Ranunculus. I'd forgotten I had been given some old bulbs by a friend. Neither of us expected them to be still viable but I gave it a try anyway. I completely forgot about them. Glad one of them made it.
