My coneflower is looking gorgeous. It has spread out this year all on its own to double the blooms. ![]() To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow. - Audrey Hepburn |

Not sure what these are but they are always around. Always a bright pink. Any guesses? ![]() I’m so busy... “I don’t know if I found a rope or lost a horse.” |

Picture is a little hard for me to see, but maybe something like Calandrina ciliata? To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow. - Audrey Hepburn |

No wildflowers here, unfortunately. They all died out. ![]() Our prettiest wildflowers bloom in the spring, then die out in around late June. Love is patient and love is kind. I think it is Mountain Pink, Centaurium beyrichii, or a related cousin. ![]() https://www.wildflower.org/pla... Wildflowers are the Smiles of Nature. Gardening with Texas Native Plants and Wildflowers. |

The Lobelia cardinalis is looking fine this time of year. I grew it from seeds from the wild area on family property. A white one even popped up. The swallowtail is 1 of 3 that just emerged today. In the background is a white with magenta eye cultivar of the local pink hibiscus, the Swamp Rose Mallow (Hibiscus moscheutos). Blooms are preparing.![]() ![]() γνῶθι σεαυτόν |

Thank you Kim. I can't find it on the western Oregon wildflower site yet. Will keep searching. It is so sweet just love it in a vase all by itself. ![]() Maybe someone will come along with a ID . I’m so busy... “I don’t know if I found a rope or lost a horse.” |

@bumplbea - could this be your little pink wildflower? Lady Bird's centaury (Zeltnera texensis) Know it's the wrong part of the country, but looks similar. GrammaChar |

I'm so excited to have happened upon this thread! And thank you, bumplbea for showing your photo! Yesterday I took a picture of a plant I have never seen before. The photo is not in focus, and I wanted to get one with the flowers open, but I think it might be the Common Centaury (Centaurium erythraea) or Centaurium pulchellum or Centaurium calycosum, now called Zeltnera calycosa. But you've all given me something to go on. It won't be labelled as 'Unknown flower' for long. ![]() |

It sure looks like the same flower and stems , leaves. Nora. Wow a field full of wildflowers. So disappointing the field is no longer there. I’m so busy... “I don’t know if I found a rope or lost a horse.” |
