My tiny Pussytoes opened today, same date as last year. It's such a tiny mite but sure starts a big season I'm hoping. It's been the season opener for the last 4 years.
Thanks it so exciting to see the season beginning. I have color on another small one, and buds on a quite a few, these are all near the house where it's warmer.

Two Thumbs up opened a few days ago with a frost damaged bloom, but today a bunch of them opened even though it froze last night these aren't too bad, kind of open standards but otherwise OK. This is a very subtle color of course, but it's really a great grower and because it blooms so early it doesn't have to compete with the brighter colored iris so it gets plenty of attention.
A tulip the squirrels missed.

Little Shindig opened today too, but the bloom is pretty weather affected, I'll wait for a later bloom and hope we quit this night time freezing thing we have going on.
