Loquat scab, caused by Fusicladium eriobotryae Cav., is the main disease affecting this crop. Fusicladium eriobotryae can infect leaves as well as fruit, mostly in the early stages of development. Symptoms are generally observed on fruits and both sides of leaves as green to olive-brown spots. The arborist recomended Fungucides but I don't use them on anything I eat so I'm not sure how you can fix the problem.
