Hi, i'm overall new to house plants and I picked up this bunny ear cactus from a local walmart about a month ago.
It didn't look in the best shape and it was already near death. Today some of the little pads feel off but one seems to have some white parts that grew into the the side of the pad itself.

Any tips on watering, propagation and overall care of this plant? I really wanna help out the poor baby :(

They need to be put in a cactus mix and not potting soil. They will rot in a wet potting soil.

Give it as much light as you can. Make sure that container has drain holes! Overall, cacti like this thrive on what I call "benign neglect". Err on the side of underwatering. It is too easy to over water them.
