Can you please tell me how to submit photos on the front page,also could anyone please identify this plant. It has beautiful light purple flowers with a yellow center, they do not last long it also has very long spikes

Are those thorns I see on the stems?

The layout of the front page is something members can pick and choose on the things they prefer to see. Not everyone has the same front page. I selected things a long time ago, so I don't know what is on the default page. Are you perhaps referring to photos shown in the database?

Yes they are thorns and quite long maybe an inch or so

Nick, I agree, the plant in your photo is Rose Cactus (Pereskia grandifolia)


The photos you are likely seeing on your home page are member database photos that pop up when someone uploads a new picture to the database.
