When I got home with 'Silver Gumdrops'... "Why did you buy that?" crossed my mind several times. And when I planted it... to be honest... I located it as a counterpoint to a Heuchera that is just out of the photo to the left. Since last year when I planted it, however, it has become a favorite...
One reason... it throws more bloom stalks than some other Heucheras... and the red bloom color stands out well.
But by far the best reason is the way its foliage juxtaposes so well with the two foliage colors of the Hostas.
I think I've gotten more comments on this Heuchera than on any of the others I have.
