Ask a Question forum→Is this normal for my Scotch Bonnet seedling to have a purple stem?

This scotch bonnet had just sprouted a couple days ago and I keep it under a T5 grow light in my closet for 16hours a day with 8hours rest. I had noticed that the stem is looking really purple-ish and although it is not leggy or anything, the color is a little concerning to me and I was wondering if anyone here can help me determine if this is normal for the plant. I just want my plant to grow up to be as healthy as it can!

The cotyledon leaves are starting to develop purple-ish hues too as well. Can someone help me with this? I'm new to gardening. Is this something to worry about?

I don't know about scotch bonnet, but that is a common feature of carolina reapers...

Relax, enjoy the process.
