Hi Louise,

You just did by replying to this thread. However, if you want to address a specific member you can prefix their usename with "@" like this - @en2gen - to notify them. You can also quote a post by clicking the "Quote" link at the bottom right of each post. That will then look like this (note that I've added a space so you can see the actual code):

[ quote="en2gen"]How do I respond to someone's post in a forum?[/quote]

which, when previewed or submitted, looks like this:

Response to garden record keeping. post 2410321.
We developed a doublesided
unbreakable aluminum marker as a solution to record keeping. The PERMASTAKE GARDEN MARKER has been in my 1 acre garden for over 10 years marking all the essentials about my treasured plants..In the very spot where they grow.
Every year I touch up information. It makes my garden experience stress free.
Hope this can help you also.
I welcome any information

I have been trying to identify an iris in the forum, but when I upload an image and then preview, the image is not there, just something that says "lightbox". What am I doing wrong, please?

Those are nice photos, Nooney @Permastake

Unfortunately posting to this thread isn't the same as posting the photos to the database.

For the peonies, you can open the genus entry page here: Peonies (Paeonia)

Then select "Upload a photo" in the actions box on the left. That will allow you to upload a photo to the database and it will be associated with the Peonies entry.
