Hey all,
I've had my flf for over a year. Originally I had it in the wrong spot and it wasn't growing too well. It was also root bound in a tiny pot. About 4 months ago I repotted into a bigger pot with fresh soil and moved to a brighter location where it gets about 10 hours of indirect sunlight. After about a month my flf started growing again and I was ecstatic to see the size of the leaves it was producing which are about 4x the size of the previous leaves.
The strange thing is though that in the last 2 months it has constantly been in a growth cycle producing new leaves every week on the three stems that are in the pot.
The last two lots of leaves had leaves come out crooked and wrinkled from buds that are curled in balls. I thought it might have been a one off but the newest buds on 2 stems are balled up again. I've attached some photos. Also all the leaves are growing in different shapes, some the violin shape and others long oval shapes. Some leaves are also pointing down while others standing up. Any idea what's going on with this plant? I haven't fertilised and I do a deep water every week when the soil dries out.

Nature comes in many sizes and shapes. You have done a great job with your FLF. As long as the new leaves remain healthy they just need time to fully emerge into whatever shape - fiddle, violin ort cello - nature has in mind.

Enjoy the music! Hurray!
