This "spider" looking bug has been on my leave for a couple of days and won't leave. I hope it is not damaging my rose bush, and is eating baddies.

I can only count 6 legs in the pic. Probably not a spider.

When I first saw it, I thought it looked like a beetle.

I barely had my coffee though, so maybe someone else can confirm or deny.

I think it's a beetle. It has a head like one and it has 2 long antennaea.

Maybe get another pic and post, and consider sending a copy to your local college's agriculture extension.
