Plant ID forum→Growing in St. Paul, Minnesota -- weed or native perennial?

This has popped up where I never planted anything, on the edge of lawn where I have a tree growing. I don't recognize it. The leaves feel like velvet. What you see is about six inches high and about the same as the width.

It resembles comfrey.
