Dear fellow community members,

Thank you for all the wonderful things you are doing here. Group hug

I have a some wonderful plants and I want to make sure everybody is happy. Today, I need some assistance with identifying the plant in the picture so I can determine care and re-potting procedures.

All I remember it may be somewhere from Australia or something, bought at a local Brooklyn florist. It does not have a root system, each string bean looking thing has a fragile "pod" for a root. It seems the water goes into the membrane protected pod and is absorbed by the plant.

Any input would be much appreciated

Kind regards,

Aleksey

Hi lyoooha, Welcome!

Your photo did not upload, can you try again?

LOL, the description of the roots does sound like Spider Plant (Chlorophytum comosum) but it could really be a number of things.

That looks like a Sansevieria, possibly Snake Plant (Sansevieria erythraeae)
