Hi! I decided to try out growing potatoes indoors inside a container. To my delight and absolute surprise, they began growing! So, here I am feeling all green thumby, and started seeing yellow leaves... Asked online on Ask an Expert and apparently I had an issue with over watering. The expert also mentioned that the plants looked "leggy" and said they looked as if they needed more sunlight.
So today, I decided to set the container outside and give them some good ole natural sun.
They were in direct sunlight for 40 minutes, brought them inside, then left to the lake to enjoy some sunshine my own self.
Came home to discover that the leaves look like they are kind of burnt on the edges and have a slight edge curl inwards. Blinking
So my questions are: is this from the sun since they are always indoors? And also, these guys do seem pretty darn tall... Are they too tall? Will they keep growing upwards? Does it look like they might actually be making tubers underneath?? Did I ruin them??
Sorry for so many questions, I am very very new to this and it's definitely fun, however I could use some experienced advice- enter you guys! Thanks for reading! 😅 I'm all ears!
