Hi ,

I purchased two zucchini plants and one jalapeno one about a month ago. I planted in the organic soil and then realized that slugs had been biting them. I purchased anti slug and added it around the plants about 4 days ago, but plants have not grown yet and I have not seen any signs of flowers or fruit.

Would someone provide some feedback?

They don't like heavy organic soil, they like airy soil with a lot of drainage like dark loam.
NOT A EXPERT! Just a grow worm! I never met a plant I didn’t love.✌

Mine are growing fine in organic soil. Not to refute oneeyeluke, they would probably like dark loam better. Idk.

More info please.

So you bought them already grown?
How did you plant them? What was your process? Are they in a spot with sun? Did you put any fertilizer? Im not telling you to put fertilizer one way or the other, just asking.

When did you buy, when did you plant them.

The more info the better!!

They can grow in organic soil. They like to grow roots first then top growth. Maybe your plant is growing under the surface. You can't see it, so you think it's not growing.
Many possibilities!

EDIT: and when do you water, and how much?
