Hello everyone!

I live in the Bay Area in Northern California. I planted a several year old apricot tree last year and it seemed to be doing OK. This spring, it broke leaf in maybe late March or early April but soon afterwards, the leaf growth halted and they have been slowly dying since. It is regularly watered (via Rachio, drip ring with 6 x 0.5gal/hr emitters, perhaps 1 gal every two days) however ground water is still present after a fairly wet spring. Can anyone help me understand what's going on?

Thanks in advance!
Chris
