My Cape Cod daisy bush normally thrives in tbe spring. However about 2 or 3 weeks ago I added mulch around them. Now I see many leaves are turning brown. Can this be due to a lot of rain we've had lately, or was it the mulch that is around them? Should I cut off the leaves that are browning? Most are at the top.

Yes the mulch is holding the water in the ground and drowning your dasiys. Remove the mulch and allow the soil to dry well.

Thank you. Will move the mulch away from them and hopefully they will become green again. I had no idea this was a danger to them. Thanks again.
