Hi! I just planted peonies for the first time ever: pink chiffon, my petite cherie, angel cheeks, and ivory victory. I made sure to get them with buds already on them so I knew they'd flower this year. Some are already approaching "marshmallow" stage and I'm debating cutting for arrangements versus leaving to enjoy the blooms on the plant. Thoughts?

Welcome!

You should enjoy them any way you want. Cutting the flowers or leaving them on the plant will not affect the health of the Peony.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming...."WOW What a Ride!!" -Mark Frost
