Hello,
My lovely, thriving Moses In a cradle needed a dusting and so I used a damp cloth and gently (as gently as I could!) wiped the leaves... this morning it looks like it took a beating!! I'm so upset it was so happy just yesterday! The prayer plant I dusted is also all curled and unhappy after being very happy yesterday... what did I do wrong???

Must be something to do with the cloth for both plants to be so upset. Even if it was a freshly washed cloth do you remember using it for anything else such as paint brush cleaner or shoe or boot treatment? Very odd and sad. Hope they both recover.

Welcome! Are you sure it was dust and not spider mites?

Your plant is very weak from not enough light and probably improper watering as well. A healthy plant would be able to withstand the dusting that you did.
