DH found this growing in the grass. It had thick, whitish cream roots (that I sadly severed). Unfortunately, the leaves are lacking, DH ran over it with the lawnmower. But, they're waxy, thick, and easy to break if bent.

Really? Will it die? Sad The flower stem seems to have continued growing, but the leaves aren't looking too hot. DH found another one in the yard, but I imagine its leaves have been eaten up by the lawnmower. If I manage to dig it up properly, will that one stand a better chance?

Thank You! *Blush* I kind of gave up on figuring out the species, but I will enjoy it. I hope it sticks around.
