Hello,

I am a novice. Many leaves on one of my plants (dont know this plant name as it has been there before we bought the house) is yellowing and falling - see picture. It also has new shoots. The only change I can think of is -- I put in drip watering last Dec. But we had a lot of rain in Southern California in Mar/Apr and the plants get water twice a week since the rain stopped. Will the yellowing stop by itself or should I do anything? Appreciate any help.

Is your drip system on the ground or over the plant?
Did/Do you leave the drip on?

How much water do you give it twice a week?

Sometimes yellow leaves are just the plant discarding them.

Are the leaves (green or yellow) dry and/or crumbly?

Hmmm...

Thank you. The drip system is over the ground and one on either side of the plant. I have attached a picture to show it. I don't leave the drip on. It is on an automatic watering system -- twice a week, 45 minutes each.

The leaves are not dry or crumbly. I am concerned because many of the leaves are yellowing (see other picture below). There are young shoots too though at the top.
