When we moved into our home, there was evidence of what used to be a flower bed. I watched it grow over the first spring and summer to see what was in there. I found mostly weeds, overgrown daylilies, hostas cramped and spreading like wildfire, a red rose, a peony, plus tulips and daffodils. I am a beginner gardener, but kind of wanted to start from scratch. I removed almost everything. I tried to keep all of the tulips, but lost some. I was going to keep the peony but it unfortunately didn't make it. It is still a work in progress but I'm loving the new look so far!
