I found the answer from this forum was very helpful. So I brought my other doubt here as well.

I have 4 lemon cypress which grow well in past 1-2 years and all of them got some leaves turn brown now. Can anyone help to diagnose?
The are in the north east side of house and doesn't have a lot of sun, but seems growing okay in past year. Now weather turn to the summer, two of them got 4 hours sun in the morning, and the other two got around 3 hours morning sun.
Recently I notice they all start to get some leaves brown or black and there is one which got such problem during winter time looks even worse. But all 4 trees got a little new grow in spring time.
The weather here in San Jose is in zone 9 and it turn to pretty hot recently(85F).

Can someone help to give a suggestion?

Thanks
Martin
