What is this? Blooming in zone 6 first week of May. Obviously growing in discarded soil from a mixed container.
If you know anything besides the name that would be cool too. I.e. is it annual or perenial, sun or shade, how long will it continue to bloom?

aggressive ground cover... I'd want it gone... but... it might be easier to control in your yard.

Thank you! I like the foliage. I'm thinking of adding it to my mixed containers outdoors. , I think it would really flatter the rooted sanseveria Leaves, wich are green and white with a yellow edge, I'm about to pot with a veriagated spider plants and yellow hanging tuberous begonia! It's good to know it's invasive. I may see if I can split this into 3-4" plastic pots and bury the plastic pot into the larger planter so I can rip it out later.

I have a very shady spot under a cedar tree in my hard where nearly nothing grows, even hosta and Lilly of the valley struggle because the roots are so dense and it stays dry inside the drip line of the tree. If I pull it out of the pot I'll try to transplant it there. It's not a big deal if it "escapes" because it will get run over with the lawnmower and weed n feeded every spring.

Look how cool they're going to look together, and this is w/o the yellow begonia. Im so EXCITED to have found this on the side of the road!
