Need a volunteer in our yard identified. It's tree-like. Got these photos about a week and a half ago and now the flowers, which are white, have opened. I'd get a photo of them but it's much too windy right now. Any help will be appreciated!

Welcome to the site!

Looks a little like an olive tree, sure someone else will add to the discussion.
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

I think that that is Autumn Olive. It will be very fragrant when in bloom.
