Hello

I bought a small cherry tomato plant and want to plant it in a pot and put in my back yard.

Any tips of what soil mix I have to use and what fertilizer and how much per week does it need please?

I live in Malta , Europe.

Best Regards

Cherry tomatoes don't need a lot of fertilizer if you are growing the plants in new potting soil. Putting containers outdoors in the hot Sun will burn the roots so be careful of the Sun hitting the sides of the pot. Use your finger to check the soil and when the top inche drys out. water until a little comes out the bottom. Don't over water your plants because it will wash out the nutrients from the soil. Happy Gardening.
