Adopted this aloe vera this past week and wondered if it's growth/look points to signs of it being sick or not growing properly?

Any tips/tricks?

It appears to be over or under watered and the best way to find which it is, is by very gently tip the plant out of the container and get a look and a feel of the soil. If its too wet then allow more time between waterings and it too dry then water until a little comes out the bottom. Make sure you give your Aloe six to eight hours of direct sun each day.
