Howdy everyone, I thought my apricot tree was doing good, alot of fruit! But now some fruit are falling off the tree.
Not alot maybe a dozen or 2, but it seems strange to me that there is fruit on branches that look dead with no leaves. Any who I'm kinda new at this so any help would be awsome. THANKS T.C

The tree can only support so much fruit, and when the fruit starts falling it's because it can't grow that much fruit. It had more flowers than it can bare fruit, so its aborting them. I good rule of thumb is to pick off anything closer than a hand apart. Thin about 1/3 the crop in the very beginning to get bigger apricots.

The fruit should not be hanging on bare branches. Can you post photos? Tree, banches, trunk...
