I am not sure what type of tree this is but it is dying. Do you have any idea of what could be causing it? We are in the Atlanta, Ga area. In the middle picture, the trunk is the smaller one to the right of the large pine. Thanks for any insight! Al

I see standing water in the 2nd photo so maybe the roots are staying too wet and causing you a problem. If it is a water issue, then when the season changes and starts to dry out, the tree should come back. If it doesn't come back you will need to remove it.
