Hello everyone,

I am planning to grow some culinary herbs this year and will be moving to the Baltimore, MD area. What are good places to buy unusual herbs as potted plants in MD? I guess it's too late to grow things from seed. I'm especially interested in green shiso, Nazareth sage, variegate sage, anise hyssop and wild bergamot, as well as all different kinds of thyme, oregano, marjoram and rosemary. Also interested in Persian basil and Thai holy basil. I would love to buy a kaffir lime tree, too, if anyone can recommend a good nursery in MD that carries citrus trees.

I am afraid you may not get a quick response for you location request.

I personally would do some online searching for the unusual ones you are searching for.

And I would not hesitate to start the common herbs from seed. You will find they grow quickly when it heats up.

Hmmm, not familiar with Baltimore area in that regard, herbs as potted plants might be available, but some of those you named may like different seasons...
So many roads to take, choices to make, and laughs to share!
