So I added a yellow banana peel to my hibiscus soil and it responded wonderfully. No blooms turned into new blooms as quick as 2 weeks later!

I have another banana peel, but it is much darker. I'm concerned it might be to "ripe" to use. Has anyone used a banana peel this dark before?

The darker the better and any stage after dark is good too.

Ok, that's what I was figuring. It breaks down in the dirt anyways, right? From yellow to black. Thank you
